armando629 (387), Budapest, Hungary Jul 10, 2008 PAN Lager Light or something...The beer hasn’t got any off taste, but it has a thin body, minimal aroma, taste and texture. Will i buy it again? No, thanx!

Pale lager, very Balkan style. Some hops, some malt, but there is also, unfortunately, some boiled carrot. heavy (471), Split, Croatia Sep 20, 2007 0.5 l bottle. Finally found this one in Ipercoop, seems it is quite rare. Pours pale yellow body with small head quickly disappearing almost completely. Almost non existent aroma of some sweet malt. Metallic and very sweet flavor, similar to those NA, much worser than original pan (if possible). It is even worser than any non alcoholic I’ve tried. Palate luckily short, but after a while it becomes longer on the tongue bottom and very unpleasant. Spilled half. ogivlado (2234), Zagreb, Croatia Jun 18, 2007 Bottled(500ml). -Pale golden/yellow coloured, small white head, light hoppy and bready nose. The aroma is mild malty, slight hoppy and watery. The simplest description would be in only two words: absolutely unnecessary. Doggythedog (966), Split, Croatia Jun 16, 2007 Poured a yellow colour, lazy but big carbonation, small white head that went away immediately. The nose is almost a void, maybe a tiny hopiness. The taste is... weak, but passable for a pale lager of this strength... quite bready. Some weak hopiness that rounds it up, has some bite and some of it actually lasts into the aftertaste. Later it got a bit metallic, a tad eggy, but all in all, drinkable, without bigger flaws and passable, especially when you think that it’s supposed to be the inferior brother of an already all too average pale lager, with a grammatical error in the name to boot. The only "light" on the Croatian market right now and I do hope it stays that way. We DEFINITELY don’t need more Pale Lagers.
