| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Sep 27, 2007 Appearance: Pours a hazy orange body with a small, white head.
Smell: Aroma of musty grains with a hint of caramel and a kiss of citrusy lemon.
Taste: Again, more of the musty, husky graininess with only a faint, middling caramel malt taste. The hops impart a mild citrus flavor and a light bitterness. Finishes semi-dry.
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium carbonation.
Drinkability: When Sand Creek and I last crossed paths, it was over the Imperial Porter. I had high hopes we could be friends, then this had to happen. kp (8500), Woodstock, Georgia, USA

For an IPA this was nowhere near what I was expecting. Slightly malty, sweet, caramel with a bitter hop finish.Finish was also very dry and left me with cotton mouth. Not a session beer.
OK,just not my cup O tea. Reminded me of a barely mid level English ale. Optigon (562), Bloomington, Indiana, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Aug 21, 2007 Pours clear orange with a moderate, fluffy head. Aroma is citrusy and hoppy. Mouthfeel is thin with a hoppy, yet lightly caramel flavor. Hop quality is akin to citrus rinds. CaptainCougar (5520), Rockville, Maryland, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Aug 14, 2007 Pours a transparent bright orange amber with a large, airy, clingy-lacing off-white head. Aroma has some lightly sweet caramel malt and a touch of floral grapefruity hops. Body foams up upon contacting the tongue revealing some earthy toasty caramel flavor and some mild, citrusy bittering hops toward a peppering, slightly tart finish. Seems muddled and not very assertive for an IPA. Needs more fresh hoppy flavor and balance. GeneralGao (3066), Iowa City, Iowa, USA
| 1.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 3/5 | 2/10 | 2/5 | 3/20 | Jul 27, 2007 12 oz bottle. Poured a clear orange color. Head was bubbly and off white with good retention, but no lacing. Terrible aroma of cooked pasta with a dusting of dried cheese. Tasted of grain husks and light citrusy hops. This is an IPA, but the only bitterness I experienced was the thought that I actually paid hard earned money for this beer. A real disaster. JK (2961), Richfield, Minnesota, USA
