12oz bottle 5/12/09 (Binny’s Plainfield)-Pours a hazy cloudy orangish yellow with a huge loose white head. Aroma of sourness, wheat, citrus, and sweetness. Taste of tartness, banana, and slight clove. This light bodied Hefe is lacking in both aroma and taste. A pretty weak example of a Hefe and over carbonated.

12oz bottle. Smelled a bit like a hefe in that there was some dried banana and a hint of citrus. I also got whiffs of paper mache and biscuity malt. Poured a hazy yellow-light orange color. Head was fizzy, white, and reduced in less than 30 seconds to a thin ring. Carbonation was on the excessive side. Slightly tart up front with lots of citrus. There was also distinct banana and a dash of clove. Body was on the lighter end of the spectrum. This was too watery for my liking and the hefe flavors, while present, were somewhat dilute or stale overall.

This beer pours a hazey, lazy, crazy golden body with a thin white head that slides down the glass like an elevator. the little lacing that does appear dissipates rather quickly. Aromas of honey and wheat, with a pleasent fruity taste of bannanas and orange.

Part of a Beer-of-the-Month deal. Nice hazy gold color with a fluffy light head. Citrus notes and a litle wheat. Clean finish.
