The head disappears way too quickly on this hazy straw colored ale. The aroma is bananas and wheat with a slight lemon twist. Seems a bit harsh in the mouth, too much spritzy carbonation. Wheat flakes and lemon dominate the flavor with some green bananas thrown in as an afterthought. This might come across better in warmer weather.

Hazed to cloudy light golden color with a quickly diminished white head. Fairly dry aromas with a touch of pale malt, wheat and just a hint of herbal hops. Pale malt and light sweet wheat start. Middle has some bubblegum and a little banana flavors with a bit of yeast. Fairly dry finish with a touch of acidity. Seems like a Dancing Man Light. Quite drinkable seems that the parts are so small that it is harder to make the sum greater then them, but this one seems to work.

Bottle from Belmont Party. Poured a hazy amber orange color with an average fizzy white head that mostly lasted with fair lacing. Moderate sweet citrus and wheat aroma. Medium body with a sticky texture and lively carbonation. Medium sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. This also is an average drinkable brew.

Bottle from CAH. Hazy gold pour with 1-finger white head. Nose is clovey spice, hopcitrus, pale malt. Tastes spicy and yeasty, floral, with cloves, hopcitrus, and pale malt. Decent complexity.

Picked up a single 12-oz bottle from Three Cellars in St Francis, Wisconsin. Pours a semi-clear golden blonde brew with a fast dissolving white head that dissipates to a fine film and no ring. Thin lacing occurs on side of glass. Aroma of green vegetables, some light yeast, white grain with wheat with a touch of cloves. Taste is lightly sweet, light to medium bodied with flavors of white bread malt, wheat, some artificial banana, lemon zest and a touch of dried beets. Finish has a mild banana and lemon zest aftertaste that leaves behind some white pepper and a touch of bubble gum. Character is more like a Crystalweizen than a hefe.

Bottled. Poured a hazy, almost milky golden with a short cap of white head. The aroma picked up an unfortunately high dosage of vegetal notes.. cloves and toasted banana came behind, but the veggies stood out. The flavor picked it up a notch.. nicely toasted banana accented by white pepper and cloves.. some banana and bubblegum sweetness graced the finish. Light-medium bodied with a grainy complexion as it approached the finish.. at least somewhat refreshing. OK brew.

Bottle. Underwhelming pour -- hazy gold, but what little head there was disappeared almost instantly. Soapy-lemony aroma. Drinks with a light gristiness and a mellow lemon-citrus flavor. Very little body to it. (#3749, 11/22/2009)
