filtered yellow, white head, amarillo nose, fruity citrus hop flavors, probably amarillo hops used in this recipe, well bittered and well balanced w/ a small amount of malt sweetness shining through without adding any grainy flavors into the mix, on the west coast we would call this a pale ale... but it’s a nice well balanced attempt and I found it quite enjoyable

Aroma is of sweat, and pine. Pours a dark yellow with filmy head. Malty, resinous IPA with a whole lot of bitter to it. Lightly sweet in the front, bitter in the back.....Has a sweetness that hangs in the back of the throat. Good stuff I guess.

12 oz bottle. Pours a nice glowing copper orange with a thick creamy white head. Aroma is sweet and hoppy, though not that overpowering. Citric fruit and caramel malts are the main presence, though some spiciness is hiding in there too. Oh yeah, and just a bit of cheesiness. Flavor starts out very fruity and citric, almost even tart for just a second on the sour part of the tongue. Gains a more biting hop character towards the finish and really is carried by that grapefruit and nectarine character. Finishes pretty smooth for an ipa, with just enough bitterness. Medium body and a sharp carbonation. Really nice ipa, much like the boulder brewing mojo that I just had, easy drinking.

Pours turbid orange with 2-finger white head. Nose is caramel malt, hopcitrus, black pepper, tangerine. Tastes very hoppy, with a solid caramel malt backbone, and a lot of black epeppery and tangerinety citrus notes that balance out well. This one is delicious.

Bottle from Craft, labeled as "Lilja’s Hop Ness Monster". Poured turbid orange with 2-finger off-white head. Nose is caramel malt, heavy hops, tropical citrus, peppery, a rich palate, nicely complex, and a beer I tried to find again, but it was all gone. Shit!

Lightly hazed yellow pour with white head and lace. Medium malt aroma with light citrus hops. Sweet medium maltiness with a pretty good finishing bitter. A tad thin and watery but a decent drink.

Bottle. A pale golden straw color body , fluffy 3 finger white head, some jagged lacing left with average to lively carbonation. Aroma is like pine tree meets pineapple, kind of sweet citrusy spruce , nice. Flavor is of citrus and floral hops, a nice level of bitterness, the malt seems to hide untill you let it warm a bit, a nice pale toasty malt background , slightly oily texture , crisp fresh mouthfeel with a long resiny bitter aftertaste . This seems quite sessionable , I only bought one but would have have drank 3 or 4 if I had them . Much better than expected , I would buy this again . A solid IPA

Bottle Pours a hazy golden with a decent white head. The head leaves quickly. Lacing is good. Has a good spruce aroma of hops. The carbonation is excellent. Has a wonderful mouthfeel. The flavor is excellent. Real hoppy and a nice bitterness. Has a resiny texture. A real solid finish with a great aftertaste. I did not expect this beer to be as good as it was. A real good beer.
