Has some slight bretty characters, which make it quite interesting, but not sour or tart or anything. This shows some fruit grape notes, with some slight woody notes. Crisp, clean finish. Light, but interesting. harrisoni (6798), Ashford, Kent, England

Bottle (unsure of the size) at Chris O’s extravaganza. Mellow bready aroma with some very slight citric hops. Cloudy brown with some serious floaters, not particularly inviting to look at. Cheesy flavour with some slightly sour almost bretty notes initally and then settles on hops. Nothing particularly great about it. maeib (4723), Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, England
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Apr 1, 2007 Bottled - Chris_O Fest March 07. A dark gold coloured beer with a fair amount of sludge. The aroma is non-descript save for a little yeast. The taste is yeasty with hints of hop. Quite dull really. This brewery does disappoint me. Rastacouere (5553), Montréal, Quebec, Canada

Comments: A soft and fine sparkling Belgian ale. Glouglouburp (2826), Montreal, Quebec, Canada
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Mar 16, 2007 Cloudy golden body with particles topped by a long-lasting small creamy white head. Freshly squeezed orange juice dropped in a ton of yeast. Bready body with white bread flavour. Somewhat sweet. A bit dusty/floury. Overall sensation of drinking an orange muffin. Finish proposes a some fresh citrusy leafy hops and a little undesired acidity. Pretty decent for the first half of a 750ml bottle but it’s the type of beer that gets tiresome after a while. I’m on the fence with this one, thumb in the middle, don’t know if it’s good or not. Anyway I always advise people never to give advice. MartinT (5055), Montreal, Quebec, Canada
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Mar 1, 2007 My Bottom Line:
Softspoken, brett-laced wood gently structures this Belgian Ale’s flavor profile and aroma. Doughy yeast and orangey fruitiness attempt diversity, but stay well within the imposed boundaries of drinkability and self-effacement.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-Swelling foam finally settles atop a murky, yeast-chunk-laden amber.
-Aroma is docile and straightforward, announcing a humble flavor profile.
-The highly active carbonation remains soft once it hits the palate and tongue.
-A little candi sugar rests within.
-The mouthfeel is well-fed for its size, perfectly emulating Belgian origins.
-The citrusy fruitiness seems to expand from oranges to pomegranate.
-This eminently lacks character, but remains quite easy to drink and moderately pleasant.
Bottled in May ’06.
