Bottle shared by iowaherkeye. Poured a murky orange-brown color with an off white head. Smelled of soft caramel and cherry cola. Medium bodied and delicately sweet with carbonation on the low end of the spectrum. The varied flavor profile included the likes of mellow caramel, earthy fall leaves, and dried apricot. There was also a leathery note.

TFODRBSG08 Courtesy of thewolf. The color is red-brown with a light vinegar aroma plus sour berries and wood. The flavour has sweetness and notes of vinegar, sour berries, malt, wood, light flower and fruit. It’s a really nice sour.

75cl bottle. Thanks to TheWolf. Pours unclear amber with a stable white creamy foam. Nose is nutty, earthy & sour. Bites the cheek. Vinous & lots of wood & dark fruits. Ends very dry. Great!

Bottle @ TFODRBSG, Ulfborg, 2008.
[thanks to the Italians]
Pours orange-red with a small, frothy, off-white head. Aroma is great. Apples, blackberries, raspberries, malts and lots of oaky notes. Fine, dry and still quite creamy mouthfeel. Flavour is wonderfully tart, lots of oak and berries mixed with prunes and raisins. Super elegant and balanced.

Bottle from A Tutta Birra, Milan. Cloudy deep amber-brown. Aroma of barnyard, hay (Nina: hay, leather). Flavors include nutty tobacco. Slightly sour but balanced with light orange and citrus overtones. For 8%, no discernible alcoholic heat. Beautiful Belgian lace on the glass; a lasting and dry finish, astringent & clear. Final observation: it burps weird.
