A hazy deep red beer, which pours with a huge brown head. The aroma is sour with notes of wood, vinegar, berries, and brown sugar. The flavor is both sweet and sour - the acidit running along the sides of the tongue. The flavor has notes of sour grapes, berries, wood, and metal. It starts out with the more fruity notes, but then they fade away to make room for the woody and metallic notes, which in turn gives it a very dry finish.

(Bottle 37,5 cl) Hazy amber colour with a small, creamy head. Complex, vinous slightly sourish nose. But in the flavours not much sourness is left. This appears smooth and mellow with roasted malts and a downplayed sweetness. Very delicate indeed. 120805

75 cL bottle, as Panil Barriquee Evento, red label with santa and reindeers. Aroma is dry malty - slight mouldy. Light sourish flavoured with a distinct milky lacto touch mixed with a pronounced mouldy malty flavour. Acidic and malty finish with a somewhat infection like sourness. Utterly uninteresting.

Bottled at RBESG. Cloudy dark brown. Flowery, yeasty, oaky aroma. Sweet with soft, gentle mouthfeel and some banana. The oak adds to complexity, but does not overpower the subtle flavours. Lightly salti finish. Subtle and very complex, not at all what I expected, but a beer that grew on me with each sip.

Bottle 75cl. @ TFODRBSG 2008, Ulfborg, Denmark
Clear medium amber red color with a small to average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, berry sour, woody. Flavor is moderate sweet and light sour acidic with a long to average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. (230808)

Bottle, 8%. Weakly sour aroma. Cloudy orange/brown colour with small floaties at the bottom. Small, light brown, big-bubbled head. Sour flavour, malty and woody, all in good balance. Nice subtle sourness in the finish, too. Harmonious and strangely drinkable.

Bottled (thanks KnutAlbert). Hazy nutbrown colour, mediumsized beige head. Arina if sour and dry fruits and a bit alcohol and nuts as well. Flavour is fruitish at first, then it turns butterish and caramellish. Flowery hops are domintaing in the finish. Aftertaste is fruits and nuts. Lovely balance. Some marsipan also noteable.

Bottled at RBESG 2005. Hazy amber coloured with an off white head. Fruity aroma with notes of wood, ammoniac and barnyard. Flavour of barnyard, anise and ammoniac with fruity notes. Interesting, but not my liking.
