Hints of fruit - refreshing with notes of sweetness. A lot of flavour movement within the soft woody tannic range. Quite fascinating and quite delicious. DrBeer (777), Danderyd Stockholm, Sweden

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Aug 30, 2006 Unlike most people who had this, i thought it was great. Aroma is like lambic funk, barnyard vinous and yeasty. Taste is metal, vinous fruity, though a bit thin for 9%, there seems no alc at all. fiulijn (7420), Como; Lausanne (CH); Malmö (SWE), Italy
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Dec 20, 2007 Corked bottle, Stockholm Beer Festival 2007 afterfestival at Per’s Cloudy amber color; big head (in the decanter); nice lace. Really strange aroma: chemicals factory, some plastic, light barnyard, malt… Flat mouthfeel, some residual sugars, some malt flavor; light fruity flavor too (red grapes?), medium strength, alcohol warmth, winy. Very weird, but if taken in good mood it’s very good. omhper (12247), Stockholm, Sweden

Medium bodied with soft mouthfeel. Lightly vinous with notes of barnyard and plums. Complex and quite fascinating. Phil (100), Kent, England

It had the potential to be someting really special. The mixed notes, unbalanced hybrid is a love or hate it. The sour and vine clash with the malts? Too many odd flavours and very little finish. Oops.
Re-Rate 1/3/07 - ’m sitting here drinking a perfectly clear, burnished copper elegant beer. It is a completely different beer. Wow. The mad chemically phenolic nose has completely gone. That typical Panil barn nose is there. No sourness just balance, mellow beer. Light spritz, dry oaky finish - SO impressive. henrikb (1303), Aarhus, Denmark

Quite nice beer with a very strange freshness to it. Thanks Phil! thebeertourist (2822), Oslo, Norway
