Oct 16, 2009 Bottle. Mahogony beer with no head. Rich malt aroma with dark fruit and a nice tartness. Dark fruit and tart flavor that’s lightly sour with rich malt and oak. Medium body. Oak and rich malt linger with dark fruit and tartness.

Aug 21, 2009 Bottle from beermerchants.com. Pours a hazel-brown colour. Head disappears quickly leaving a little residue behind. Acidic aromas of ripened fruit, sour cherries, oak. Flavours of balsamic vinegar, sour cherries, some citrus in there too.Finishes with a gentle acidity and a slight sweetness. Has a Rodenbach Grand Cru feel about it albeit without as much sweetness. This one’s definately a grower.

Jun 8, 2009 Bottled 75cl. Courtesy of Daniele. It pours a beautiful murky brown beer with a nicely lasting beige head. Sour nose with oak, cherries, balsamic vinegar, blackberry, cork and apple showing up. Sour taste with quite a strong oak characteristic. Cherries, apple and balsamic vinegar appearing again. Nice lacework. Some licorice sneaking in the finish which is dry and very pleasant. Thanks a lot Daniele!

Apr 25, 2009 Colore rosso scuro,aspetto direi simile a vino,schiuma densa.Aroma molto complesso da definire,direi di more,vino e leggermente speziato.Sapore forte,alcoolico con note di frutti di bosco e lievemente acidulo.Una birra che definire ottima è riduttivo.
