| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jan 15, 2007 Bottle shared with Hogtown Harry, GregClow, Jerc, Mabel, and Blankboy, courtesy of Harry (thanks for trading for and sharing this rare one Harry!). Very mild aroma, some sourness. God appearance, dark orange, big foamy head. Good sour taste - but, not much else. I cannot believe there is no complexity at all here (I am a huge fan of the North American version of this beer). An ok Flemish sour ale, just massively disappointing, that’s all. Arômes de fruits acides et de sucre brun. Saveurs de fruits rouges, d’agrumes et de phénols. blankboy (3260), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Pours a murky dark orange with lots of floaties and a small diminishing white head. Nice aroma of tart fruit, spices, yeast and malt. Flavour is lightly sour along with some wood, yeast and mild malt. Medium bodied. Quite good, it’s refreshing and easy to drink. tiggmtl (4311), Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 5/5 | 15/20 | Jan 4, 2007 Mildly tart cherry aroma is quite waxy . Hazy browned-copper body is topped by a generous white head that lasts well and laces beautifully. Tart and woody with notes of worcestershire overshadowing the dark fruits. Moderate bitterness seems more pronounced than I recall in the American sour version. Medium body with soft bubbled but very engaging effervescence. Large mouth tulip glass. Cellar temperature. Bottle (Bottled Nov-05, Bièropholie, Oct-06). Gr0ve (1425), Oslo, Norway
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Dec 29, 2006 750 ml bottle. A bit lighter in colour than the mild version, but hazy. Light brown. Tall fluffy white head that sticks to the glass. Soapy. Drying hop aroma. Cidery. Really high carbonation level. Lightly acidic at first, but then the sourness sets in. Sourness lasts all until the finish leaving the mouth sour and bitter. Very nice beer. CapFlu (3494), Victoria, British Columbia, Canada

Huge dissipating head with a cloudy brownish body. Nose is nicely tart with an iodine undertone. Flavour is lightly sour and incredibly unidimensional and underwhelming. Dark, hazy orange-amber with a good sized head. Aroma of tart fruit, malt, and a sour funkiness. Flavour follows - it’s sour and woody, but quite mellow, not as aggressive as the regular version. Pretty nice, though - and better suited for a session than its sibling.
