Mar 18, 2008 Pours red brown with thin white head. aroma is berries, malt, very vinous. Slightly woody flavor. Not sour at all. Much more sweet. Nice all the same. Very different.

Mar 7, 2008 Bottle at home - shared with Mette. Red/brown - offwhite head. Malty sweetness, caramel, red berries, light woody, nice sourness, brett, acid, tar, fruity, cherry, vinous. Hej MIP - hvis du køber øllen skal jeg nok købe ind til en spegepølsemad... !!!

Feb 12, 2008 Pours orangish brown with a nice haze, floaters and nice lacing. Pleasantly fruity aroma reminiscent of white grapes. Slightly tart with notable hints of wood, green apple and citrus. Clean fruity finish.

Was saving my notes for this as I wanted the three versions of Barriquée to go in together. I just love the aroma on this stuff. All three versions scored an 8. Awesome woody bretty style stuff. Similar to the other two in flavour but perched just about dead centre. Lovely fruit and creosote finish. I enjoy Panil more and more.

Jan 23, 2008 Bottle, 8%. Fruity aroma, slightly tart and woody. Hazy nut brown colour. Small, bubbly tan head. Small floaties. The flavour is OK sour, lactic acid, nice and clean, almost like Berliner Weisse. Has a good cleansing finish. Slightly vinous. Very late goat aftertaste. Thin mouthfeel, low to medium carbonation. I would have liked better mouthfeel and higher carbonation, but still very good. Has high drinkability and goes well with a spegepølsemad.
