Bottled at RBESG thanks to Knut Albert. An unclear orange beer with a thin orange head. The aroma has very strong notes of fruit and lesser notes of mold and some acidity. The flavor also has strong notes of fruit - especially oranges and peaches on a medium acidic back ground, leading to a dry tart end. The acidity burns slightly in the throat.

(Bottle 75 cl) Pours a hazy, amber golden with a small, of-white head. Vinous aroma with accents of wood - but no particular acidity. Medium-bodied with sweetish, fruity accents - like sweet, ripe grapes. Ends rather soft and mellow. This is a pleasant crossover between the mild Barriquée and the sour American. Thanks to Knut Albert for this treat. 250806

Bottled. Cloudy reddish brown, brief head. Acidic lactic cherry flavour aroma. Dryis with medium body and rather spritzy mouthfeel. Rather intense woody cherry flavour and some acidity. Refreshing and tasty, very Rodenbach-like. Not as great as I remember the full sour version to be though.

75 cL bottle, sour sticker and golden cap. Pours hazy dark brown with a dense off-white head. Aroma is sour, acidic and dry brett-ish. Medium dry brettish and slight metallic in the initial flavour impression. Smooth fruity flavoured with a light caramel malt base beneath. Dry and fruity finish although with a controlled sourness.

[ Thanks to Menno ]. Clear medium amber brown color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy malty, roasted, sour berry, moderate cask wood, oak, sour cherry notes. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet, moderate acidic / sourish and vinegar with a long to average duration, and a dry sour finish. Body is medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. Very nice ;o)) (060808)

Bottle, 8%. Fruity aroma, slightly tart and woody. Hazy nut brown colour. Small, bubbly tan head. Small floaties. The flavour is OK sour, lactic acid, nice and clean, almost like Berliner Weisse. Has a good cleansing finish. Slightly vinous. Very late goat aftertaste. Thin mouthfeel, low to medium carbonation. I would have liked better mouthfeel and higher carbonation, but still very good. Has high drinkability and goes well with a spegepølsemad.
