On "Agreste" label, for Eurosaga, 75cl bottle bought at the Iper supermarket in Serrapalle Scrivia. Orval pils. Colour is hazy gold, evident perlage with rapid head and discretly persistent even if a little spongy. Aroma is very yeasty, with aggressive notes but a slight sweetnes that kisses the nose at the end; flavour is a weird mix of a traditional pils (even if the "generous" - so the site - hopping is not so outstanding) and the sourness of the high fermentation yeast. Surely one of the most original ways to brew a ’pils’, but a bit too suspended between the easy-to-drink and the complex to be fully convincing; body is a bit watery, too, and this doesn’t match very well with the characteristics of flavor and smell. Good drink, but Panil does better. rickgordon (3304), Göteborg, Sweden
