Bottle: Poured a fizzy deep black color stout with a thin light brown color head with minimal retention and some light lacing. Aroma of sourness and oak are dominating. Taste is also dominated by some sour notes with loads of oak and some light roasted malt notes. I am pretty sure I would have had a hard time to recognize this has a stout since sourness was so dominating. Body is a bit thin with some good carbonation. I am not sure why previous rating are so low – sour stout? Sure but what do expect when its barreled in oak; DMS – couldn’t find any trace of?

(Bottle 75 cl) Courtesy of yespr. Pours an almost clear rough off-white head. Weird aroma of vegetables and fustiness. Medium body yet quite watery. Underlying vegetable notes and a dry and bitter finish. Really unpleasant. 290508

Bottle 75cl @ [ Mafioso Blind Tasting @ yespr, Bottle #27.]
Unclear with medium size particles a dark amber brown color with a average, frothy, good lancing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, damp-stained, cardboard, fallen apple, vegy - celery. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration. Body is light to medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. (300508)

Blind tasting @ Yespr. Brown with a red hue. The aroma is revolting with notes of chicory, fennel and cabbage water. The totally dominating notes in the flavour are as in the aroma, and do not even want to force myself to search for other notes – terrible....

Bottle#27: 75 cL bottle. Pours dark brown with a redish glare and a lacing white head. Earthy towards vegetable aroma. Thin mouthfeel. Flavour is mild watery and mild roasted malt. Ends vague and some watery acidic roasted note. Bland and boring, mouldy, earthy and rotten wood. I was looking forward to this anticipating a beer that couldn’t be that bad - it was worse :(

#27 Bottle 75 cl. [Mafioso testing @ yespr, thanks buddy] Average creamy beige head that mostly diminished. Fair display of lacework. Mahogany color. Aroma of moldy vegetables, earthy and not much else. Light bodied with soft carbonation. Light to moderated acidic and mild bitterness. Moldy lingering finish. 2 / 3 / 2 / 2 / 3 = 1.2

Dark brown color. Weird aroma, some caramel and moldy apple skins. Horrible flavor, dry, maybe caramel, dirty water, strong dirty bitterness.
