Aroma of wheat is dominant with a superb spice mix including coriander. Taste is smooth with lots of wheat and some well balance spices. Body is above average with a creamy texture. I was really impressed with this one overall and really wonder if I tasted the same beer that was rated in previous ratings but I must confess that I am a big fan of wheat beer to start with so that may have influenced my rating. | 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Oct 29, 2006 Slight gushing upon opening proves without further consequences. The body is straight yellow, direct stray under the sun and fully opaque and cloudy. Atop it all raises an initially tall white head that dissipates swiftly and with no rockiness. Pretty much no spices are noticeable in the nose, surprisingly enough. Instead, the focus is on the ingredients, so we’re immediately noticing the crunchy wheat influence and parrallel cerealic, sweetich malts. Slightly biting, very active carbonation accentuates a growing dryness. The yeast does not go very far in its identity deepening process, stopping by ordinary bready notes and avoiding exotic fermentation derivatives like fruit esters or whatever. Limited flavor profile to put it mildly. I hope I can expect a bit more character from the numerous italian brewpub wheat beers. MartinT (5073), Montreal, Quebec, Canada
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Oct 28, 2006 Any first impressions?
-A thin veil of foam dissipates over the cloudy beige, lots of yeast particles float about.
-Wheaty cereal and milky coriander simplicity make up an unassuming aroma.
-The chewy wheat foundation leads to dryness, as the faint spicing somewhat surprises if compared to most witbiers.
-The prickly, large bubbles override the cereal outcrop.
What if you dig deeper?
-Bready yeast and wheat comprise most of the finish.
-Shy leafy wetness is hidden underneath; not sure if it’s a product of the supporting hops, or tired spiciness.
-The back end is mostly characterless dryness.
-There isn’t much to talk about here; it is quite unimpressive compared to their Brune and Panil Barriquée Sours.

A fine Belgian-style wheat beer (brewed with coriander). Lively carbonation, a little spice/soapy finish. The Etruscan (307), Tuscany, Italy
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Mar 28, 2004 White large thick long lasting head. Deep golden, almost orange colour. Aroma is fruity, with citrus and spicy notes. Flavor is fruity too, citrusy with sweet tones, but yeasty. Finish is balanced and slightly sour. Light bodied. Aldrighetti (162), Coltura, Italy

Fizzy white head, disappear quickly. Phenolic (medicinal), sulphuric, sweat, skunky aroma. Light body, oxidated taste, no sourness. Maybe I was unlucky, but I bought two bottles with the same problems...
