Wheaty body. Quite phenolic. Not bad, but nothing special. fiulijn (7420), Como; Lausanne (CH); Malmö (SWE), Italy
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Aug 9, 2007 Updated: Dec 20, 20072007-11-30, Papsø’s Blind Tasting, 3-2-2-2-4=13 Cloudy blond color. Very light aroma, even less the flavor. Is there a light wheat? Maybe. Some plastic touch, and a fermentation issue too. Very bad.
2006-11-02, 7-4-6-2-13=32 Hazy blond color; very thin perlage, persistent; thin head. Original aroma, malty, cheesy, new oak barrel with spices (coriander, vanilla…). Medium body, soft, with light wheat character, some malt; the final is too light. Interesting. harrisoni (6830), Ashford, Kent, England

Phil_l said it was probably too old to get a rating out of it. To me it had the same problem as some of the other Panil beers. Yes it has some decent sourness, but they really do have to stop putting several hundred yards of wooden fencing in the copper when they do their boil!!!! At least there wasn’t any creosote on this one.
