| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Nov 3, 2006 Bottle: Poured a nice yellow ale with some white hue and big foamy head with great retention. Aroma of wheat is dominant with a superb spice mix including coriander. Taste is smooth with lots of wheat and some well balance spices. Body is above average with a creamy texture. I was really impressed with this one overall and really wonder if I tasted the same beer that was rated in previous ratings but I must confess that I am a big fan of wheat beer to start with so that may have influenced my rating. Thick uneven snowdrift head over full apricot haze. Immediately Belgian funk, farmyard and sweet manure aroma with cutting lemon and lily- more saison or Westy blond than witbier. Lemony funky edge, encloaking lily, pig crap, lemon barley, honey dabbed biscuits and cereals, wheat, sickbowl floaties, barrels. Pleasant and characterful. profane (40), Italy
