Cloudy, beautiful light golden ale. Delicate 1cm white cover. The nose is floral more than anything and freshly so, though not failing to display even more vinous notes than your average Panil. Belgianesque in mouth. Generous cleansing carbonation. Nice hops bite. I must say it is not THAT flavourful, but just very pleasant to drink. Grainy, sunflower seeds reminiscent concoctions with sesame grains undertones. Just well distributed flavours really.

(Bottle 75 cl) Courtesy of fiulijn. Hazy, pale golden with a small, white head. Lightly sweetish, fruity and floral aroma. Quite a rich, full body with sweetish malts and lightly citrusy and floral notes. Somewhat astringent finish. 280907

Bottle. [Courtesy of Papsoe, quality tasting @ Papsoe] Spare fizzy white head that mostly diminished. Light cloudy yellow color. Aroma of caramel, grain, flowers, perfume and citrus. In the sniff I could recall the Panil aroma. Medium bodied with a lively carbonation. Moderated sweet flavor with light acidic. Light citrus sweet finish. 28-09-2007

Bottled. Very hazy pale dark blonde colour with a small white foam. Fruity aroma of peaches and candisugar with distinct dryish undertones of barnyard and hay. Sweetish flavour of yellow fruit and yeast with a dryish finish of barnyard and orange-peels. Medium-bodied with a low bitterness

75 cl bottle. Deep golden colour with a frothy head that turned minimal. Complex fruity aroma, mostly oranges, some sourness and wood, even a hint of cheese? Flavours don’t disappoint- farmyard and cheesy notes blending with orange fruit. Soft. A treat from Panil.

Muddy orange colour with a big, foamy head. Aroma is ginger, allspice and oranges. Quite thin mouth feel. Flavour is cork, wood, oranges, yeast and iron; I guess you can call it unbalanced. Harsh alcohol finish. This was a big disappointment.

Bottle, RBESG 2007 in Glasgow, Grand Tasting. Hazy golden colour. Moderate farmhouse aroma. Sweet fruity flavour, notes of cheap white wine. Not that special.
