Oct 6, 2006 One of a few soccer team beers that exist in Greece. Paok is the most popular team in Northern Greece. The beer is basically a small variation of Vergina (same brewer). I prefer Vergina though.

Apr 23, 2005 Updated: Jul 18, 2005(Bottle 33 cl) Apparently the beer to drink if you support PAOK Saloniki - one of the Top 5 soccer teams in Greece. And curiously the canned version can be found on display in the Museum of Design in Thessaloniki! The beer is a standard lager, deep golden with a thick head that leaves laces in the glass. Nice balance between the malty sweetness and a quite pronounced hoppiness. A good one. 160305
