nbutler11 (727), Phoenix, Arizona, USA Jun 18, 2009 Back on tap at Papago. Pours almost like a blonde. Smells a little sour, like underripe apples and lemon. Tastes much different, though, almost like a cream ale flavored with orange zest and notable yeast. Nice and refreshing for the summer. SuperDave70 (1157), Beautiful Sunny Mesa, Arizona, USA Jan 27, 2009 On tap at Papago. Slightly hazy gold pour with a nice creamy head. Light aroma of yeast, fruit and malt. Flavor is also very light and sweet, with a bit of citrus and a light hop finish. Good, but too light in everything! Bockyhorsey (2483), Mesa, Arizona, USA Nov 26, 2007 Tap @ Papago. Aroma was sour and yeasty. Gold body with white creamy head. Mild to medium sour and bitterness but in the mix was a bread grain that was odd. Also odd about this one left a citric acid and citrus peel dryness for an aftertaste.
hellbilly (1492), scottsdale über alles, Arizona, USA Oct 31, 2007 pours light gold with orange tints and a creamy white head. aroma is nearly nonexistent...coppery malts and yeast. flavor is only present when the beer is room temperature...light maltiness with orange, yeast, some spices and slightly tannic hoppiness. Gusler (2655), Tucson, Arizona, USA Oct 30, 2007 The beer sets in the glass a crystalline gold with a two finger creamy white heat, upon its demise, the lace forms a thin blanket to conceal the glass. Nose has a sweet malt aroma, hints of spices, crisp and clean. Start has a pleasing malt sweetness, followed by a bit of hop bitterness, top is moderate in feel. Finish has a gentle acidity, the hops delectable, nice dry aftertaste, which maintains the sweetness.
