Draft at PP Strong Ale Fest ’05. Hazy orange with small head. Fairly fruit yeasty aroma. Medium bodied, with lots of fruity and yeasty flavors. Some candied banana, light lemon, maybe some other citrus, and also a touch of mint. Sweet, and finishes weet. Nice.

9th Annual San Diego Strong Ale Fest: Hazy light orange-brown color with no head. Yeasty aroma. Fruity, maybe some dried pineapple and candy. Some notes of alcohol. Flavor starts fruity. Yeasty with a spicey finish. Semi-dry.

Tasted on tap at the 2005 Pizza Port Strong Ale festival. Orange gold color. Small head. Aroma is fruity, estery and sweet. Medium bodied Belgian Strong Ale. Malts are fruity and sweet. Banana esters. Nice balance. Sweet and fruity. Hides the 11.5% alcohol very well. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is sweet.
