Courtesy of rustychiles. Pours gold with a nice white head. Smells of dry malt, perfume, grass, some residual sugar, boozy. Tastes sweet and tarte with some dryness on the finish. Enjoyable.

Sampled at The Big Pour beerfest in Scottsdale AZ, after we snuck into the VIP area! estery aromas of bananas, sweet spices, and citrus oil. Nice flavours of sweet straw-like malts, good yeasty fruit and spice character, and a hoppy dry finish. A very nice trippel.

On tap at PP Strong Ale Festival 2009. Orange amber color. Nice banana Belgian aroma. Creamy white head. Light sweet. A bit boozy. Good.

Bottle sample at the Draft Magazine PBS Beer Festival. Pours clear gold with an average white head. The nose is spice, caramel and booze. The taste is clove, spicy yeast and brown sugar. Medium prickly mouthfeel. Too sweet and hot.

pours a brilliant gold with a small white head. aromas are typical i suppose... bananas, clove, caramel, yeasty richness and an alcohol sting. the flavor is pretty similar but with the addition of tooth rotting sweetness. there is a somewhat spicy dry finish but, for the most part it is a sugary tripel. which, in my book is a bad thing. the body is full with residuals yet fairly creamy.

i’ll wait for the bottles and hide them for a couple of years. sweet tripels=yuck!6/3/4/4/13/3.0

Sampled at the 2009 AZ Strong Beer Fest on February 28th. Nice deep gold pour with a good foamy head. Aroma and flavor of yeast, ripe fruit, spice and alcohol. A bit too sweet, but not bad.

Growler from Papago. Pours a caramel color with a nice white head. Aroma of yeasts, candi-sugars, cloves, malt and hops. Flavor is sweet, a little banana clove, touch of spices. Pretty good, but a little cloying.

Tap at Pap. Not in love with this. Nose is highly alcoholic and flavor is the same. Color is brilliant as is the appearance, but I detect no subtleties in the flavor. Just heat and plant.
