Clear amber, minimal head. Aroma is cane sugar sweet. Taste is very sweet, cotton candy, wheat. The light body leaves the alcohol taste pretty evident.

On tap at the 2008 Strong Ale Festival. Poured a deeper and cloudy golden-amber color with a very small sized off white head. Aromas of floralness, wheaty, and toasty. Tastes of the same floralness, wheat, toast, and I was getting a very light citrus.

Off-white ring tops the clear orange-golden hue. A complex fruitiness (pear, grape, banana, melon) reminds of the great wheat beers, but you cant be mistaken with this well disposed grassy hoppiness. The overlying malts are caramelic, bready with pleasant brownsugar undertones. Restricted bitterness accentuates the vinous feel, so does the light carboantion and light-medium body. Well done, just not very exciting.

(Draught) Pours a clear golden amber body with a medium white head. Aroma of orange, florals, mustiness, white grapes, and golden raisins. Flavor of clove, floral hops, honey, and orange peel with moderate bitterness in the finish.

Strong pale ale genes trying to bulk up with alcohol proteins…Wheat malt is sweetened by fruitiness, such as peaches and apple juice…Earthy hops attempt a rejuvenation but fail to affect the aroma and taste very much…Not a specially tasty number, but still raises an eyebrow…

9th Annual San Diego Strong Ale Fest: Clear amber color with an off-white head. Sweet toffee aroma. Flavor was dull with a light sweet fruitiness. Thin body.
