| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 24, 2005 This beer is a deep brown color, it is slightly hazy and in the light shows a deep ruby note to it. The head is a frothy light brown color. The nose is light with notes of caramel and perhaps a hint of nuttiness. The taste is fairly dry up front, but then moves to a note of buttery oak. Quite light on the palate. While a bit dry, there is a definite caramel sweetness here. I also get a hint of chocolate. The finish of this beer is the most notable part, actually a bit rich, creamy, with notes of woody tannins, buttery oak and a definite note of hazelnut that comes to linger and dominate the finish. Flavors are a showcase of various nuts that were all brought together with a good body. one of the best nut browns i have ever had! snotrocket (4), USA does not count | 4.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Feb 13, 2005 This is a great beer. It originally reminded me of Rogue’s Hazelnut Brown but this was better. This beer tastes just like it smells. Its nutty taste lasts throughout the full pint. No disappointment here. Definately try it if you’re in Phoenix! boto (1339), Granby, Connecticut, USA

The aroma was quite nutty, with the predominate aroma that of almonds. Medium malt body, but not overly sweet. Taste of almonds also, with some bitterness in the finish. Very Good!
