Very dark, small head. Coffee and dark malt aroma. Rich and flavorful, nicely balanced, slight bitter chocolate, molassas, lactose, Brazil nuts, coffee.

Almost cola-like feeling in mouth. Strong coffee, smoke and chicory flavors. Ends on a dry note.

Many thanks to Beoir for this one. Black color with miniscule head. Lactose and coffee on the nose. Huge coffee flavor with some smoke and chocolate in there. A lactic sourness towards the end, but very good.

[growler] Black pour with little to no head. Big coffee aroma. Taste is a lot of coffee and some smoke but somewhat of a thin mouthfeel. You really get the cream on the finish. Good stout.

Growler from Papago Brewing. Pours a deep brown to black with a small brown head. Aroma of burnt barley and coffee. Flaovrs of bittersweet chocolate, smoke, coffee and cream. Something about this one wasn’t quite right, but it was still rather decent.

Thanks to Beoir for hauling this one back for everyone. Black color with a thin head. Aroma of lactose and coffee. Milky and chocolate flavors up front and a pinch of coffee. Something a little like sourness or vinegar is towards the end, almost like BBQ sauce, but not in a bad way.

Thanks to Beoir for sharing. Lots of lactose in this sweet stout. Black in color and low carbonation. Bitter chocolate, and a little smoke. Better than many of the style, the smoke is a good addition.

[Growler, thanks beoir!] Pours black with a dark tan head. Aroma is chocolate, some smoke and something difficult to place--overall quite sweet. Taste is a little sour with a lot of coffee and a nice chocolate and roasted malt finish. The mouthfeel is lacking and I found to be quite thin. There were some very good things with this beer--I think the appearance and the aroma were quite good and there was nothing wrong with the taste, it just didn’t personally work for me. The palate could definitely be thicker though.
