| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Jul 3, 2007 pours a nice golden color. floral/hoppy, citrus nose with a bit of brown sugar. flavor is dominated grapefruit juice but it has a nice malt balance without a lot of sweetness. crisp dry finish. naudebo (6), USA does not count | 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jun 20, 2007 Tap at Papago: Pours a cloudy amber with an ample white head. Strong hop notes on the nose with some citrus as well. Somewhat carbonated and firm mouthfeel. This one has hops galore from start to finish, but it is balanced out with the right amount of sweetness. Strong undertones of citrus, particularly grapefruit, but lacks a distinct flavor profile other than straight hops throughout. Would drink again, though. grimreeser (797), Minnesota, USA

Aroma has some mild, but fresh grapefruity hops and sweet pale malty notes. Body starts lightly sweet with some slightly toasted caramel notes and fresh citrusy hoppy balance. Crisp resiny drier finish hides the alcohol well. A good double IPA. 21iceman40 (1731), vienna, West Virginia, USA
