Jul 3, 2007 pours a nice golden color. floral/hoppy, citrus nose with a bit of brown sugar. flavor is dominated grapefruit juice but it has a nice malt balance without a lot of sweetness. crisp dry finish.

Jun 20, 2007 Tap at Papago: Pours a cloudy amber with an ample white head. Strong hop notes on the nose with some citrus as well. Somewhat carbonated and firm mouthfeel. This one has hops galore from start to finish, but it is balanced out with the right amount of sweetness. Strong undertones of citrus, particularly grapefruit, but lacks a distinct flavor profile other than straight hops throughout. Would drink again, though.

Apr 23, 2007 Growler supplied by Bucknaked and his buddies at our Mesa Gathering - Pours a clear reddish-amber color with a small off white head. Light spotty lacing. Has a pungent floral hop aroma. Flavor is citrus hops with a nice malt backing. Medium to full body. A real nice 2IPA. Thanks guys.

Apr 15, 2007 On tap at the 10th Annual San Diego Strong Ale Festival: Pours a clear dark golden bronze with a thin wispy-lacing white head. Aroma has some mild, but fresh grapefruity hops and sweet pale malty notes. Body starts lightly sweet with some slightly toasted caramel notes and fresh citrusy hoppy balance. Crisp resiny drier finish hides the alcohol well. A good double IPA.

Mar 29, 2007 This was a hugely hoped duece while remaining calm with the alcohol. The bitterness was not citrus and it wasnt floral it was just hardcore straight bitter. Great beer.
