Golden straw color with a white head. Piney Simcoe and other Cascade family hops in the aroma. Grainy malt astringency and some biscuity flavor with "C" hops on top. Bitter resinous finish. Mouthfeel is medium and fairly dry.

Taster at Stone 9th Anniversary Festival. A very decent west coast hops-over-the-tops IPA, double I suppose but not as strong as some others. I liked this quite a bit.

Damn good ham-handed west coast IPA in the pseudo Stone tradition. Piney orange. Good mouth. Caramel aroma. Not my style, but not bad.

Cask @ 05’ Pizza Port Real Ale Fest: Hazy pale yellow/orange. Nose of orange and watermellon, lots of hops and hop sweetness. I’m chewing on hops (literally). The flavor is so, so hoppy, very light toasty malts, no body.

Pours with an orange-gold body topped by a thin head with little lacing. The aroma is very piney and bitter with a slight sweetness and some mint. The flavor is slightly sweet with apricot notes, a little bitterness and some medicinal notes. Medium bodied, slightly dry and smooth.

On tap at Papago. Very nice thick head on a golden beer. Had citrusy/hoppy aroma, and very hoppy taste. Lots of bitter taste with a very complex finish.

Malty aroma with the hops standing out as the flavor to this beer from the tap. Amber color with average head and good lacing on the glass. Good beer
5/22/07 Cask. Had a good pine aroma and something else. Wife took a whiff and said it is odd aroma but couldn’t figure it out also. Even the bartender can smell it from the cask to glass and notices it. Well not offencive by any means just wish knew what it was. Thicker body texture than oringinal Hop Father but a good vine grapefruit flavor. Left more a juice aftertaste on palate. Good brew.
