(Randallized version) Cloudy golden body with off-white head that leaves nice lacing. Aroma is medium sweet, orange. Taset is medium sweet, orange, grapefruit. Not overhopped despite the Randall. Smooth, watery medium body.

Growler acquired in trade with hellbilly (thanks!). Poured a medium and clear orangish color with an averaged sized off white head. Aromas of melons, caramel, floral hops, and citrus. Tastes of toasted malts, caramel, citrus and had a lighter grapefruit finish. Lacing left on the glass.

Lasting large white head. Pale golden hue. Quite rooty citrusy and floral hops form the front line, backed up by fitting toasted cereal malts. Very engaging carbonation over the medium body helps keeping the flavours tightened together and accentuate pleasant pineapple and pepper notes, lifting and prolonging a firey hoppy finish.

(Draught) Pours a light hazy amber body with a small white head. Aroma of citrus, cereal, floral, and caramel. Flavor of syrupy citrus, lightly toasted malt, and caramel with a bitter finish.

On tap at the 10th Annual San Diego Strong Ale Festival: Pours a clear dark golden bronze with a thin wispy-lacing white head. Aroma has some mild, but fresh grapefruity hops and sweet pale malty notes. Body starts lightly sweet with some slightly toasted caramel notes and fresh citrusy hoppy balance. Crisp resiny drier finish hides the alcohol well. A good double IPA.

Cask... Pre-GABF ’06 at Falling Rock Tap House, Denver... Hazy amber ale with a small, fizzy, off-white head. The aroma is of caramel, grapefruit and pine. The flavor matches the nose and provides medium bitterness. Medium-bodied with almost no carbonation. Lengthy, bitter finish.

Cask @ 05’ Pizza Port Real Ale Fest: Hazy pale yellow/orange. Nose of orange and watermellon, lots of hops and hop sweetness. I’m chewing on hops (literally). The flavor is so, so hoppy, very light toasty malts, no body.
