On draught at the Papago Brewing Company tavern in Phoenix, AZ. Pours a hazy golden pale blonde brew with a fast dissolving white head that dissipates clean. Aroma of light wheat bready malt, some flowery hops and a distinct character of a creamy orange dreamsickle. Taste is light to medium bodied, light carbonation with flavors of wheat, some yeast and a orange cream soda character. Finish is semi-sweet, smooth, creamy with a orange dreamsickle aftertaste.

When this beer is on, there is little to stop it; but man are these kegs ever temperamental. Only in the last month has this been sold to other taps in the state, and the result was a quick sellout. The word "bouquet" isn’t used very often on beer, but this absolutely has one. The oranges show up primarily at the finish, following a light-to-vanilla cream mid-palette to produce an absolute spot-on Creamiscle aftertaste. An absolute must when I am back in the PHX.

I was very impressed with this one, just like drinking an orange deamsicle. Very unique, very nice dessert beer. Probably would have rated it higher if I hadn’t felt like I was drinking a girly drink.

Draft at papago with unclemattie. Cloudy yellow with a white head. Aroma of wheat, oranges, and cream. Tastes creamy and sweet with lots of orange and vanilla. Creamsickle, just like the description says. A pleasant refreshing treat.

on draft at papago: poured hazy yellow orange. nice nose of citrus wheat and oranges. slight baby aspirin feel on the mouth with a billowy smooth character. tingly on the soft palate. easy to drink nice for hot climate.

On draught at Papago 8/16/06: Pours to a slightly cloudy orange-yellow body with a medium, frothy, white head. The aroma shows off some pleasant fresh orange, sweet yeast, and very mild pale grains. Taste is sweet orange infused hefeweizen in a nutshell. It heavily featured the orange flavor, but I didn’t feel overwhelmed by sweetness or feel like it was syrupy. Light-medium bodied, medium carbonated, finishes with some orange and wheat flavors.
