When this beer is on, there is little to stop it; but man are these kegs ever temperamental. Only in the last month has this been sold to other taps in the state, and the result was a quick sellout. The word "bouquet" isn’t used very often on beer, but this absolutely has one. The oranges show up primarily at the finish, following a light-to-vanilla cream mid-palette to produce an absolute spot-on Creamiscle aftertaste. An absolute must when I am back in the PHX.

Draft at papago with unclemattie. Cloudy yellow with a white head. Aroma of wheat, oranges, and cream. Tastes creamy and sweet with lots of orange and vanilla. Creamsickle, just like the description says. A pleasant refreshing treat.

Draft from Papago. I usually don’t like fruity, sweet beers, but this was nice. Complex for a wheat. Like a creamsixle in a glass.

A wonderful surprise from Papago. I thought all they knew how to make was really big high alcohol beers. While the alcohol may be missing the flavor isn’t. This is a nice orange hefeweiss with a hint of vanilla so it gets a creamsicle type of taste. While this beer isn’t for everyone it certainly is designed well as a summer thirst quenching beer. It gets a little bit warm in Phoenix in the summer and this beer helps cool you down. Served in a hefeweiss glass, a nice slightly orange color. Good head and a nice aroma and flavor. It won’t blow you away like the Hopfather or Wheatwine they make but it is still a well made beer.

Their best seller...not real big but for a tasty session beer this hits the spot...a touch of orange, zesty, nice carbonation, wheat, slight banana, vanilla, creamy, cream soda...tasty.

Cloudy, orange appearance. Very fruity aroma. Strong Orange and citrussy taste. Very smooth and flavors of cream in the beer. Amount of orange is the right balance. Very refreshing.

On tap @ Papago - Pours a clear light golden color with a small white head. Light lacing. Aroma is oranges. What else? Flavor is cream oranges with a hint of vanilla. A smooth, light to medium body beer. This beer was a pleasant suprise. A must try when in the Valley of the Sun.

Billed as a "Hefe" but I thought the flavours more resembled a wit. Nice fresh aroma and a witbier taste - zippy citrus peel all over with light crisp bitterness. Looks: cloudy golden orange with white dissapearing head that laced well. Hefe looks with wit tastes. Super.
