On tap at the 2007 GABF: Transparent copper amber pour has a wispy-lacing thin tan head. Aroma of sweet caramely German malt with a hint of light fruits. Body starts fairly full and sticky sweet with nice caramel malty flavor and smooth German lager yeast. A very nicely-balanced, authentic and tasty doppelbock.
