A black beer with a brown head. The aroma is very roasted combined with notes of chocolate and coffee. The flavor is sweet and also very roasted and with a great coffee flavor, as well as some nutty notes. Nice creamy mouthfeel.

Aug 9, 2008 Bottle: Rich malty and chocolatey aroma with a light coffee presence. Nice clean roastiness. Dark brown pour with a small tan head. Light sticky lacing. Tastes chocolate filled and sweet. Lots of mocha and coffee working together. Roasty background and some light bitters in the trailer. Thanks to mcox90 for the bonus brew!

Jun 9, 2008 12 oz. bottle. Pours a deep, almost black brown with red undertones. Small off white head with no lacing. Nose is malty with chocolate. Palate is fairly dry and smooth. Taste is all the usual stout flavors, malt, caramel, chocolate. Nice smooth drinking low impact stout.

May 18, 2008 Pours mahogany into an English pint. Off-white head with medium retention recedes to skim surface. Caramel malt aromas. Chocolate front to back with a lasting slightly sweet hop finish.

Jan 21, 2008 12oz bottle-pours a rich retaining tan head and black color. Aroma is dark malt-chocolate/coffee. Taste is strong coffee grounds, dark malt-chocolate, acidic hops bitterness. Nicely done, but not my style.
