Interesting porter. Very fruity, with something reminiscent of dark roasted nuts and fruit jamiiness mixed with some caramelized brown sugar. Very roasty, with strong hints of alcohol, and a mouthfeel that is almost juicelike. Reminiscent of a doppelbock, moreso than a porter.

Sep 25, 2008 Deep reddish dark brown color, beige medium head. Sweet malty aroma. Roasted, fruity, sweet flavor has a hint of coffee and chocolate.

Sep 19, 2008 Deep brown color with creamy beige head. Nice lace. Aroma is kind of gluey, roasty malty with a bit of chocolate and licorice. Flavor is sweety licoricey and syrupy, roasty malty, a bit metallic, coffeey. Hides alcohol very well. Palate is medium to full-bodied, oily and low carbonated.

Sep 14, 2008 (bottle) dark ruby-red colour, creamy tanned head. aroma has strong dark fruity notes, roasted malts, chocolate, coffee. flavour is strong roasted malts and coffee, with dark fruits, chocolate, bread dough and a light hop bitterness. dry, roasted-bitter finish, slightly vinuous, medium to strong body, medium carbonation.

Sep 3, 2008 Bottle. Aroma is lots of licorice and caramel with som soya in there aswell. Taste is a bit sticky and sweet with nice roasted malt notes and a caramel finish. A bit watery mouthfeel. Doesn´t quite feel like a porter.

Aug 15, 2008 Very dark brown with a lasting light brown head. Rich malty aroma with toffee and licorice. Roasted sweet flavour with burnt toffee notes. Clean and somewhat metallic feel.
