Nice effervescene throughout the tasting. Good looking pilsner which carried through to the tasting. Touch of sweet and then a very clean bitterness. Great pilsner that I’d drink often if I lived in the desert. kmweaver (2463), Sebastopol, California, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Oct 7, 2008 Draft @ Moab Brewery. Pours a bright, clear medium-golden color; white head with solid fine-bubbled lacing. Reasonably crisp aroma, showing white grape juice notes with mineral bitterness; sweet grapes. Medium mouthfeel: following the aroma, there’s a white grape note (very present) that sort of pushes this away from an ideal pilsener rendition for me; it’s not sticky, but it’s sweet and slightly juicy and distracts a touch from the mineral bitterness and toastiness underneath. Decent and a bit different. Medium finish: lingering grapes with a very nice, dominant toastiness. skoisirius (574), Seattle, Washington, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Aug 23, 2008 On tap at the brewery. Pours a nice straw yellow color with a fairly retentive white foamy head. Lots of Saaz and grass are available through the nose and the flavor. A bit yeasty, though it adds some body, presence. Not a bad Pilz at all! jcwattsrugger (5333), Florida and, New Jersey, USA

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jun 6, 2007 Poured a clear straw yellow with a thin, firm, white, foamy cap. The nose was nice and clean. Freshly hopped with a pleasing leafy tone and crispy biscuit malt underneath with a subtle sweetness. The taste followed suit with nice crisp, clean flavors of pale biscuit malts and a nice fresh hop profile providing a nice grab. The finish was crisp and pleasant to the tongue. A very nice pilsner. erway (1002), Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 23, 2005 Draft at brewery: Clear and light gold; nice head and lace. Very crisp and carbonated. Clean. Nice malt flavors of grain, cereal and biscuits, and wafty aromas of flowers and spicy herbs, with Saaz coming through nicely. Balanced and flavorful pils. BuckNaked (1204), Tempe, Arizona, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jul 22, 2004 Tap at brewery: This was my favorite beer that I had at the Moab brewery. It just barely edged out the Scorpion in my ratings. Pale straw colored yellow with a tense white head. Aroma - crisp and fresh, fruity (pear, peach), yeasty, and some slight malt coming through. Taste - Fruity, yeasty, I can taste everything from the aroma. It also has near perfect amounts of carbonation and a clean, crisp body. There’s some lemon, light malt, and bitter hops in this one as well. Excellent pilsner.
