Pale, sweet, somewhat unclean and rather full bodied. One dimensional.

Bottled@HBF2005. Notebook said "NAPHAC", which probably was my attempt to write cyrillic and try finding it out. Pale golden colour, not much head. Aroma is grain and quite lagery. Flavour is a standard lager with not much interesting.

One of the interesting things about Russia is that they sometimes try very hard not to sell you the Russian beer, instead trying to foist Tuborg on you. They didn’t want me to buy this, but it wasn’t that bad. Boring, but no different that mass-market beer back home.

Bottled. This one is totally not my kind of lager. Skunky hops, thin, nasty bitterness. Drinkable but not enjoyable.

Light gold in colour with a good sized head. Quite a sweet, malty lager. Its almost a Fosters, although marginally superior.

This is sometimes known as Number 5. It has a nice golden colour. It has a heavy mouthfeel, almost chewy. It leans towards a honey taste with little evidence of hops. Not a great beer.

2001 bottle. Hmm well sorry to go against the grain, but I liked it. Especially since it was still quite drinkable after over 2 years. Bottle conditioned, aroma is a medium sweet barley smell, with some good sour lagered yeast, musty. There is a great bitter spicy element in this beer. Finishes strong and lightly malty. I will admit the body is a bit soapy tasting, but not watery, AND, I drank this at about 68 degrees! Good hint of fruitiness in the malt. This would be great, fresh in Russia

Bottled(500ml). -pale golden coloured, medium quick-disappearing head, low carbonation, standard pils nose, harsh taste with no hops at all, drinkable but nothing more than that
