Bottle. Pours a dark bruin body with an off white head. Gummy citrus with a candy like sweetness. Sour, cheesy tones, with some apple pucker. Chocolate covered cherries and toffee. Interesting enough.

Bottle. Pours dark brown with a small creamy off-white head. Strong dark malty aroma. Sweet malty taste, twists more over on the sour/smokey side towards end.

Bottled sample via lubiere. Dark brown in colour with fairly strong carbonation. Aromas are of stewed fruit, figs, caramel and roasted malts, and a bit of spicy yeast. More caramel and fruit upfront in the mouth, along with hints of chocolate and a bit of a molasses twang. Starts off medium sweet in the mouth, but dries out fairly well on the finish. Fairly interesting, but not mindblowing.

330mL bottle, courtesy of Lubiere. Thanks Luc. Pours a hazy, deep dark brown with a huge tan head, very lively carbonation which fades fast. The aroma is a blend of subtle malt complexities. Lots of dark fruit and sweet malts, as well as some yeast. The flavour is also very subtle, but there’s a lot going on here. Plum, red grapes, toffee, and the finish is long with a seriously lingering aftertaste that makes this beer unique (ish). Smoke meets mild sourness and somehow they almost work, but are just a bit too weird to be honest. The smoke gets longer and more drawn out as this beer warms, and it over-powers the sour. Very drinkable for the abv. Over-all this is a tasty and enjoyable little Belgian brown.

Bottle. The aroma is very soft, light malty and sweet. The head is small, white and fizzy with a short duration. The body is nearly black. The taste is malty, a light sour finish. The carbonation is soft, the body is light to medium and creamy. A good beer.

Bottle - 330ml. Pours a cola brown body with average carbonation and a thin off-white bubbly head. Enjoyable malty/hoppy aroma with fruity and yeasty hints. Well balanced taste that carries yeasty, toffee, and plummy notes. Ends with a decent bittersweet finish. Enjoyable Brown Ale.
