Indra (1845), Prairie Village, Kansas, USA Apr 24, 2004 Fruity, sweet but overall mild aroma, with some light melon and pear, a faint piney spiciness, honeyish malt sweetness and touches of herbal, leafy hop. Medium golden color, rather heavily sedimented (although an attempt was made not to pour all of it), with a creamy, fine and lasting head. Flavor is sweet up front, becoming fruitier (tropical) and finishing with a dash of acidity and faint peppery alcohol. Some lingering yeast esters and sweetness. Light, creamy mouthfeel. Lacking in complexity but reasonably satisfying, nothing is too overdone here. Enjoyable.
pepperford (108), robbinsdale, Minnesota, USA Sep 7, 2008 lightly cloudy, bright white head that disapates quickly. Aromas of bread, lemon, a touch of soap in the end. Sweetness, but not over powering, followed by lemon/citrus and a lightly full mouth feel. Borresteijn (588), Amstelveen, Netherlands Aug 19, 2008 On tap. Golden copper colour, white head. Aroma of fruits, sweetness, malts. Flavour is soft and sweet, fruity, malty, bit spicy. Slightly sour finish. Nice tripel. goldtwins (3740), Nesconset, New York, USA Aug 18, 2008 RBSG ’08: Poured a hazed golden amber color with an off-white head. Aged caramel malt aroma and flavor. Some yeasty spice again in the aroma and flavor. Medium bodied. stankenk (60), Maplewood, Minnesota, USA Aug 11, 2008 Pours a gold color with very thick head. The nose is a strong yeast with light notes of orange and citrus fruits. It comes across the palate rather weak with notes of orange, however it does have light tart finish. thewolf (3981), Kolding, Denmark Aug 10, 2008 Bottle, bought @ Pivni Gallerie, Prague.
Pours golden with a big, bubbly/fizzy off-white head. Lots of bubbles. Aroma is yeasty, oranges, light citric. High-ish carbonation, okay mouthfeel. Flavour is a little weak, some clear spicy yeastiness, a touch of tart oranges and a bit vinious. Okay tripel.
