DruncanVeasey (1823), No. 46, Leicestershire, Belgium Dec 1, 2008 Updated: Dec 4, 2008750ml bottle round The Jenners. Nice sharp yeasty apple and mostly sesame aroma. Dark honey amber with a collapsing halo of froth. Some Westy-ish nutty edge despite the paleness, hint of piney hops. Sesame and savoury bite. Really fresh distinctive , slightly English-yeasty Tripel . I’ve nosed 4% Yorkshire real lagers that sniff and drink exactly like this. Excellent approachble tripel. Power to the nuts n yeast yeah - I SAID YEAH. pepperford (114), robbinsdale, Minnesota, USA Sep 7, 2008 lightly cloudy, bright white head that disapates quickly. Aromas of bread, lemon, a touch of soap in the end. Sweetness, but not over powering, followed by lemon/citrus and a lightly full mouth feel. Borresteijn (673), Amstelveen, Netherlands Aug 19, 2008 On tap. Golden copper colour, white head. Aroma of fruits, sweetness, malts. Flavour is soft and sweet, fruity, malty, bit spicy. Slightly sour finish. Nice tripel. goldtwins (3747), Nesconset, New York, USA Aug 18, 2008 RBSG ’08: Poured a hazed golden amber color with an off-white head. Aged caramel malt aroma and flavor. Some yeasty spice again in the aroma and flavor. Medium bodied. stankenk (76), Maplewood, Minnesota, USA Aug 11, 2008 Pours a gold color with very thick head. The nose is a strong yeast with light notes of orange and citrus fruits. It comes across the palate rather weak with notes of orange, however it does have light tart finish.
