ZBF2008: From tap. Pours slight hazy yellow with a chalk white head, dense. Light spiced aroma. Flavour is spiced with a subdued wheat note. Light fruity note. Finish is light coriander spiced and a mild wheaty note.

Zythos Beer Festival, Sint-Niklaas, Belgium 2005. Hazy golden colour with a big white head. Yeasty citrus aroma and a sweet taste. Medium body and a sweet finish.

Bottled. Golden colour, mediumsized white head. Aroma is slightly barnyardy, and spicy. also some wheat. Flavour is quite much the same. Once the yeast goes in it gets a lot "spicier" and fresher. Has a quite sticky palate afterwards

Hint of spice in aroma. Unclear yellowish colour. OK refreshing spicy flavour.

A bit hazy golden color, big white head. Suprisingly same kind of rubbery-wheat nose than Blanche Des Neiges, which I sampled recently. Aroma is also dry and papery, smell of metallic water. Spicey start, at the end sweet (added sugar?), banana and spelt (maybe it is actually oat, which seems to be used also here). Finish is empty and watery - seems to be with all of these Pater Lieven beers. Some sourness in the aftertaste.
