Sweet sugary and cereal aroma. Thins and brown color. Not that heavy on the palate, no the body is actually thin. Lingering bitterness and perhaps to sweet. Caramel and bread-like flavor with a hint of fruit. Not bad, but could be more.

500 ml bottle. From Germany. Dark reddish colour with small off-white head. Sweet caramel, some butter and roasted malt in aroma. Weak sweetish caramel, butter, dark fruits and malt in flavour.

Draught yesterday at the Paulaner tent at the Rujanfest in Zagreb. I reckon this is it. Brownish red body, small white head that went away relatively fast. Grainy malty nose. Sweet fruity maltiness falling somewhere between cooked plums and chocolate, clean and balanced but dull. No hop? Grainy aftertaste. Ok enough, can be called good, but doesn’t push my buttons.

Bottle brown, 500 ml, got it in Munchen.
Appearance: Pours brownish red, waterd cola in body colour, gentle carbonation, body texture is perfectly clear, head is frothy, dense, pillowy, cappuccino like in colour, dark beige, leaving very nice lacing, head is intitially huge in size, slowly decreasing to medium.
Aroma: Nice and thick aroma of a roasted barley grains, caramell, vanilla, cacao, whipped cream, cane sugar, coffee, cappuccino, cinamon stick, faint scent of hazelnut, notes of honey, generally aroma is sweet and dessert like, really rich aroma in the overall impression.
Flavour: Front is mild, yeasty, upfront notes of cappuccino, caramell, peanut butter, hazelnut, whipped cream, cane sugar, somne coffee, some vanilla, salty-mineral texture, well balanced but not that rich in flavour as many Bohemian Dunkels or even many German Dunkels, finish duration medium.
Palate: Body is medium, texture is watery, carbonation on palate is rather soft, finish feel is sweetish, slightly astringent, not roasted at all with weak notes of cappuccino.

Draught, Carlisle European Market. Beautifully smooth and malty, with a rich and slightly smoky taste. Far too drinkable!

50cl bottle @ Munich. Pours dark amber with a creamy white foam and lacings. A bit of roast, some fruit and caramel . Fine and inviting nose. Medium and smooth palate. Taste has a bit of roast, bread, caramel, fruit and toffee. Tasty and well made.

50cl bottle poured into a dimpled mug. Dark amber brown with skimpy tan head. Aroma is definitely berries and raisins. Flavor is the same. Light carbonation. Short bitter finish. Very smooth brew. Nice.
