Borresteijn (1347), Amstelveen, Netherlands Oct 27, 2009 50cl Bottle, bought in a German supermarket. Light hazy golden orange colour, lasting fluffy white head. Aroma is a bit sharp grainy, sour wheat and some sweet candy and banana esters. Flavour is light sweet, wheat, fruity, light sour, some CO2 bitterness, sweetish finish. Light to medium bodied, prickly mouthfeel. I’ve had worse beers... Hermod (245), Vantaa, Finland Oct 20, 2009 50cl bottle. Golden, hazy color, huuuge head. Yeasty aroma, soft and fruity, yeast flavor. very good non-alco. Boystout (900), Chisinau, Moldova Oct 3, 2009 The expectations were high due to rarity of low alcohol weizens here in Eastern Europe. It has the same appearance as its heterosexual brother, the only differencce being a thinner head. The palate is not so much impressive: hard water with deeply-hidden vanilla and banana notes. sirPino (855), Zawiercie / Żywiec, Poland Sep 14, 2009 No 828

Bottle brown, 500 ml, got it in Munchen.
Appearance: Pours honey golden, essential and bright, typical for a Weizen, body is well saturated, however, it is not visually very impressive, head is snowy white, extremely huge even if cold, slowly decreasing to big, very stable, leaving thick and firm lacing, head is frothy in texture and rocky in shape, body is cloudy in texture.
Aroma: Very well pronounced notes of yeast and wheat even for such a Low Alcohol, it is like a regular Weizen with a gentle note of metalic hint hidden deep under, weak note of coriander, banana, clove, carrot juice, whipped cream, milk, lime, orange, grapefruit, lemon seeds, all that you expect to find in a regular Hefeweizen.
Flavour: Front is soft, mild, notes of milk, whipped cream, salt, dough, strong accents of yeast, orange, lemon seeds, lime, wheat, gentle malted barley base, slightly metalic, sweetish, mineral what makes it similar to Low Alcohols, generally soft with a clean aftertaste of wheat and yeasty dough, notes of cookie, cake, finish duration is short.
Palate: Body is light, texture is creamy, carbonation on palate is mild, finish feel is clean, neutral.
KimJohansen (6645), Copenhagen V, Denmark Aug 28, 2009 Clear golden with a medium off white head. Sweet aroma with caramel, malt and wheat notes. Somewhat sweet flavour with malt, caramel and hints of wheat. Finished sweet. Leadmedia (26), Denmark Aug 28, 2009 Good weissbier, with a different taste, not usal on wiessbiers, I really like it. Good average beer. shrubber85 (2832), Wallhalben, Germany Aug 22, 2009 Bottle. Sweet peach/orange, yeast and wheat malt aroma. Slightly hazy, straw color with moderate head. Sweet orange/peach and wheat malt flavor. Not bad - has some nice weizen characteristics but are somewhat subdued. Bov (5403), Bienne, Switzerland Jul 16, 2009 courtesy of oh6gdx - clear amber colour with a bad head retention; aroma of banana with notes of wort; poor malt body, some sweetness and quite tasteless; short corny and slightly banana finish; quite dry and harsh - not good
