an aroma of over-ripe summer fruits - mostly apples - warmed in the sun. Chesnut and highlights of tangerine. Suggestions of cloudiness, the drawing in of the olips to the late toffee sweetness calling for something sharp--of fine sharp mature English cheddar will be delicious -

500ml bottle: poured orange brown with a nice sized beige head that remained throughout. Moderate banana and clove aroma. Flavor is moderately sweet int he finish with a decent amount of yeast presenta and banana. Full body. A nice beer.

A good, no-nonsense dunkelweizen with ripe melons in richer, slightly darker tones than a normal weiss. Finish is rather thin, I should have liked a bit more staying power there. Not bad, but for my dark weizen cravings I will stick with Aventinus (draft -- bottled it barely realizes half its potential).

Bottled. Hazy amber-brown color. Sweet, malty, caramelly and yeasty aroma with rye and clove. Sweetish, bready and caramelly flavor with clove and banana. A flat finish.

Huge offwhite creamy head with holes after large bubbles. Body is opaque dark brown with hazy yellowish brown edges. Sweetish citric wheaty aroma with notes of coca-cola and a mix of licorice and earth. Traces of banana, too. Light, bananaish bubblegum taste, slightly tart and watery. A decent dunkelweizen, but a bit too watery and bland. (0.5l bottle.)

(on bottle) Brown and hazy, steady white head. Soft banaa sent, notes of bread and even some toast in there. Foamy, whiped cream mouth + waterish. The banana stays for the finish and gets slightly bitter. Burby, but interestin with the toasting in a weiss mit hefes.

Bottle: Hazy, chestnut coloured, lacing, nearly white head; sweet-fruity nose (ripe - maybe exotic fruit - , berries) the "normal" bananas and cloves are rar away....., some caramelly notes detectable; moderate sweet flavour; sweet dark-malt, caramel and a light bitterness in the sweet, mainly fruity finish. A very well rounded Weizen without too many edges......
