Beautiful foam that lasts. Well balanced medium bodied however a little dull in the aftertaste.

Dark sour malty aroma with yeasty banana-clove esters. Dark cloudy brown with thin off-white head. Medium bodied with medium-high carbonation. Malty sweet start, with banana and clove. Low acidity and mild bitterness. Rather dull overall but pleasant. Sweet cereal finish and after.

Wheaty beer with a reddish amber color. Had a yeasty taste with extra maltiness. Lots of different flavors and complexity. Full foamy head, long lasting of course. Mild finish. A very well-made beer. (Had in a Paulaner Pub in Kiel, Germany)

Bottle. Malt and banana aroma. Cloudy brown color. Moderate hops bitterness with light malt flavor with only a hint of fruit. Not bad but pretty light for the style.

Very nice and drinkable dunkel. Fruity type aroma and almost overly sweet tongue, but the taste is quite nice. I’m softening on these dunkel things. Dunkel dunkel dunkel.

Lovely cloudy red-brown colour. Lacey, quickly diminishing head. Heavy banana aroma. The taste is somewhat out of style in that it tastes like a Helles Hefeweizen minus the citric taste. Smooth texture. Some fruitiness and some hints of coffee and caramel. Ok, maybe some more differences to a helles weizen. But very drinkable and I think even better than its Franziskaner equivalent.
