This pours a typical dark brown cloudy body with a huge creamy wheat head. Aroma of banana and spicy clove. Smooth body, creamy, filling. I imagine this would rate even higher if sampled fresh (which these German Weizens rarely are here in the U.S.)

Bottle from Beers of Europe. Dark brown and cloudy, with a foamy white, long lasting head. Aroma is banana and cloves. Flavour is the same plus malt and yeast. Very smooth, extremely drinkable with a very good mouthfeel. Excellent.

mediocre flavor of cake, oil, and some other descriptive adjective which seems to have slipped my fragile, fragile mind at the moment. pardon me for not writing this rating down.

Dark and unclear. Medium head. Fruity and spicy, corianer. A bit too sour. Perhaps to old.

Cloudy copperish color with small head. Very fruity and banana aroma, some yeast in there too. Strong banana flavor is pretty dominating, no hops to mention. Some yeastiness also in flavor, but somehow it fits in nicely. Carbonation comes up in the end, makes beer nicely crisp and well balanced. My first dunkelweizen, surprised me positively.

Paulaner makes excellent weiss-bier, and the Hefeweizen Dunkel is certainly on of the. Aroma of fruits and caramel, nice dark amber color and a long-lasting head

Aroma of banana and yeast. Semi-dark, white head. Nice banana flavour. Malty and semi-sweet. Acidic aftertaste.

Nice looking dunkles. Hazy brown with a nice head. Fruit, yeast and some sharpness in the nose. Yeats, candied fruits, spices in the flavor. Decent.
