Apr 28, 2008 Great aroma, refreshing and some citrus in it. no alc. Looks nice, with a god sized head.. Fantastic flavor, the alc. is totally hidden, very refreshing, but not watery. Palate is not out of the ordinary, but not watery as one might expect. Overall one of the best of its kind that i’ve tasted (not that i’ve tasted so many of this kind, but stil..)

Aroma is malts and spice.
Flavor is very well balanced sweet malts and slightly bitter hops. Wheat smooths the taste overall and makes this a session beer for sure.
Served about 40 deg. F.
Good summer beer, very refreshing.

Apr 22, 2008 On tap at St Veronus. Shared with a friend. Reminiscent of Denison Weissbier. Milder in flavour and overall impact. Taste heavy in bananas and clove. Nose dominant in banana and cardamom. Clean finish, and a very refreshing and flavourful beer.

Apr 21, 2008 Draught - pours a dense dark gold with a thick white head and lace. Light body, slight banana/clove aroma. Very soft mouthfeel, light wheaty flavor.

On draught at the brewpub. Poured a dense dark amber with a very thick white head. Mellow banana-clove aroma and early hop bitterness. Medium-bodied with a soft mouthfeel. Wheaty flavor balanced with pale malt and a hint of clove. Nice job!

I tried this beer on March 20, 2008 at "Smokeless Joe’s" in Toronto, Ontario. The beer poured a hazy orange gold colour with a huge fluffy white head. The aroma was malt, and spice. The mouthfeel was medium bodied and highly carbonated. The flavour was grainy malt, and some sweet banana hints

Apr 17, 2008 Ahhh... Those guys at this brewery know their stuff. Excellent Hefe Weiss! Has all teh classic hallmarks of the quintessential bavarian weiss beer. Pours with a nice white fine head and good lace. Typical cloudy yellowish amber color. Good sharp tang and carbonation. All the traditional esters in this kind of beer. Easily a session beer. Very clean pleasant finish. I’ve been drinking this for many years and I believe that it’s actually improved over time. Having a mug a this at Bodega Brew Pub downtown La Crosse, Wisconsin. USA
