This is the typical wheat beer yellow with medium foam. Flavor is like watered down orange soda with a small bitter whang. The body is watery and not what one would suspect from a premium beer. Passable for drinking if mega brews are all that is available. BMan1113VR (2805), Los Angeles (and Dallas), Texas, USA

Large, creamy, off-white head covering a hazy orange body. Clean tasting hefe with a bitter finish. Lively carbonation. Pretty decent overall. Thanks to ilovedarkbeer for this one. | 4.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 18/20 | Feb 25, 2008 This is a nice hefeweizen with a lighter bubblegum/banana quality and stronger toasty grain quality. It is lightly cloudy gold with a very big, dense off-white head that lasts long and is creamy. Teh aroma is 1st toasty grain but this gives way to bubblegum, banana, light yeasty wheat bread, fresh plums - very nice. The taste is tingly with a light grain quality throughout plus a light bubblegum and banana quality, lemon-lime soda pop, balanced sweet-bitter character, then in the finish the toasty grain takes over for a long finish, more so than seems usual for German hefeweizens. It’s a great example. Cybercat (784), Georgia, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Feb 24, 2008 Pours out a cloudy amber with a thick, white, fairly persistent head. Aroma is strong and wheaty with some citrus component - but this may have come from the obligatory slice of lemon. Flavor is rich, wheaty with a hoppy undertone and just a touch of bitterness, and a lemony hint. Smooth, enjoyable, refreshing. armando629 (962), Budapest, Hungary

The nose is complex:citrus some vanilla and banana fruit. The flavour is vanilla, some fenolic hints and a little fruit and yeast, moderated carbonation. Nice smooth taste. Classic of the style, correct and delicious. BuckeyeSammy (455), Cleveland, Ohio, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Feb 21, 2008 Apricot color, white head. Unfiltered. Not a huge nose, yeasty aroma. Good wheat. Flavor is light yeasty, zesty, not seltzery, Nicely carbonated. Brewer101 (162), New Jersey, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 14/20 | Feb 19, 2008 Didn’t do much for my palate, seemed a little too bland for me. The appearance was a hazy yellow with moderate head. Enjoyable but not that special for a hefeweizen to me. BorksBabe (81), Tampa, Florida, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Feb 18, 2008 Very nice aroma of wheat, vanilla, slight citrus. Gorgeous mid-amber color, slightly cloudy. Starts with a thick head that takes about 10 minutes to settle, leaving slight lacing on the glass. Its flavor is very nice- slightly sweet, honey/wheat, with a banana and vanilla aftertaste. Smooth on the palate- a GREAT beer! Overall it’s awesome.
