Good german Weizen. Hazy orange. Very tasty, smooth, drinkable. For me the banana and fruit were not as pronounced as other German Weizen’s I’ve tried. But still very good and drinkable, a solid beer.

Bottle--Gosh, what a great surprise. I picked up the beer as a single to fill out a six pack of new beers. The pour left a medium to large head and the beer, oh how the beer had a wonderful blend of haziness and cloudiness that dull the orange color. It is and was the best looking hefeweiss that I’ve reviewed. It has all the fruit, banana, a bit of oranges and lemon. Each sip leaves a charming lip smacking feel on the lips. This is going on my warm weather drinking list, of course in Florida, that means 9 months of year! produce place-mix six pack.

My favorit everyday Hefeweizen. Perfect cloudy golden look, with a thick white head. Aroma is full of fruity esters, banana, oranges. Palate is smooth, which makes the sensation like a fresh desert. Flavor is again very smooth, with sweet wheat being dominant and backed up by a nicely mesured amount of hobs, giving the brew an edge. Nice

Nothing to say that hasnt already been said but.....I use this as the benchmark to judge all other Hef’s by. It’s a true classic, that always taste great with a perfect balance of citrus, banana and wheat. Great summer beer.

1pint 9oz bottle. Aroma is malty and yeasty with notes of bread, caramel, cobwebs, mold, banana, and dried dark fruits. Large foamy off-white head that mostly diminished and left no lace. Murky dark yellow hue. Flavor is moderately sweet and a little dry and salty on the average finish. Palate is medium bodied and watery soft. A good wheat brew when you’re in the mood, chewy, yeasty, and aromatic.

12 oz. bottle, "Produced On" date in the lower right hand corner of front label (06/07), sampled in a weizen glass. Yeast cloudy in appearance, reddish orange hued golden yellow in color. Large frothy, rocky topped white head, slowly settled into a thin creamy lacing, small amount of ringed laced sticking. Aromas of lemon and banana peel, clove and nuts, a really nice yeasty smell. A light spiciness mingles with the honey bready malts. Velvety, creamy smooth medium body, moderate carbonation, goes down quite easily. Balanced and tasty, squeezed lemons, bubble gum, mild nutty banana, a mushy fruity sweetness. Traces of honey grains and sweet bread, the malts dry out at the end. The hops provide a delicate spiciness in the finish. An affordable German hefeweizen that delivers everything I could want in the style.

50cl can. Cloudy amber/gold with a big white head that leaves a delicate layer of foam after a few minutes. Tart and sweet banana aroma with plenty of yeastiness. creamy medium body with fizzy but smooth carbonation. Rerate shows much more fruity and interresting flavors, maybe even a little more than i would like. almost no hops in the finish. On par with the other bavarian weissbiers I’ve had, but not special.
