hammerbeck (101), Kentucky, USA Aug 31, 2007 I always thought that people who said their beer tasted like bananas were crazy, pretentious, or idiots until I tried this beer and paid careful attention. Delicious alone, like many hefeweissbiers our German friends produce, this brew really shines when served with a lemon or orange slice. Perfect for summer drinking. CIPS514 (77), Lawrenceville, Georgia, USA Aug 30, 2007 Updated: Sep 14, 2007For $8 at Helen this beer was way to damn expensive but it sure was a wonderful beer. And the server was hot too. riversideAK (2648), Shoreline, Washington, USA Aug 30, 2007 Aroma is nice banana, yeast, and the slightest hint of clove. Pours a nice hazy bright yellowish orange. Flavor is dominated by the sweet banana with a little bit of vanilla and an amazing crisp citrus finish. Refreshing and very enjoyable. ucusty (1871), Wake Forest, North Carolina, USA Aug 28, 2007 pours hazy gold with thick creamy head and lacing. Banana on the nose and mouth. Very palatable and refreshing. Icommonsewer (122), TUCSON, Arizona, USA Aug 28, 2007 I’m not that crazy about ’cheifs’ but this Jefe is the best of the many I’ve tried... very drinkable and refreshing! DownsouthGav (602), Greater London, England Aug 28, 2007 HITW, Waterloo 23/08/09 - Fantastic Wheat beer, thick, cloudy, citric, great aroma of yeast and apricot. Strong firm body with a velvet texture. How all wheat beers should be Allen (1285), Switzerland Aug 26, 2007 Updated: Jun 1, 2008Canned 50cl. It pours a hazy orange beer with a nice head. The taste is of banana, lemon and oranges. Slightly sour. Biscuity. The finish reminds me of melissa. This beer leaves a beautiful lacing. A pretty good Hefeweizen.
