TheToaster (14), Denmark Jul 26, 2007 One of the best among many competent german weissbiers. The complexity of fruit (not to much banana, more along orange and a slight bit of hey) and wheat along with the thick conistenstency and plentiful Naturtrüb of this very unfiltered orange weisbier. stubby (325), Santee, California, USA Jul 25, 2007 Quite possibly my favorite session beer. Strong aromas of clove and cinnamon with some banana and yeasty spice. Palate is delightful light to medium light and quenching. White head stays to the last, but mine don’t last long. jlruthven (134), Milledgeville, Georgia, USA Jul 25, 2007 A very good hefe. Not my favorite style, so that gives you an idea. Pours a brownish-orange with hints of yellow and red. Nose is bananas, lemon, and some oranges. Tastes of unfiltered wheat and malts, the oranges come through strong here, as well as a hint of peach. Had mine with an orange slice, delicious. A perfect beer for that transitional time between summer and fall. Kirill (264), Durham, North Carolina, USA Jul 23, 2007 possibly my favorite hefe, better than franziskaner. not just bananas but also other fruits, lemons and peaches perhaps? very nice long and changing aftertaste cab (861), Denmark Jul 22, 2007 Bottel.50cl. One of the best hefenweizen you can get, in my humbel opinion. Les petites bulles me rappellent l’événementialité du dasein, façon « gates of Heaven ». Rictus (126), Camdenton, Missouri, USA Jul 21, 2007 Dry lemony smell. Cloudy dark gold body with a big fluffy head. Lemon and banana flavor, only dry. Thick and smoothly carbonated. I love it. Drank it in an actual weizen glass too Seeuwk (7), Brazil does not count Jul 21, 2007 Bottle. An excellent wheat beer, probably the best Weizen I’ve had, and I’m not a big fan of this style. Really nice.
